Martensism

Scott Martens has written a post outlining his alternative to normative liberal political theory. Only a handful of people would ever think of trying to do something like that, no one but Scott Martens would think to do it in a blog entry.

And whatever you think of his ideas, they're not some inanity like, say, anti-idiotarianism, but are some novel and coherent ideas. He basically does what he sets out to do, to the extent you can in a blog entry.

I'm in awe, and I don't mean that in any humorously hyperbolic fashion or something.

That however will not stop me from trying to demolish all his arguments in a blog post coming soonish.
